I got a demand where person asked me how to do a QuickTime Mov to Mp4 conversion using QuickTime Pro 7. The write back to this depends on what Mp4 file you want.

"Mpeg-4 Basic" defined the normal Mp4 videos in some kind of low compression ratio. "Mpeg-4 Improved" offers you Hd Mp4 video output using Mpeg-4 codec, while "H.264" also gives you the high definition video capability with H.264 (Mpeg-4 Avc either) codec. "Pass Through" is interesting. It just changes the Mov video holder to be the Mp4 video holder without any interchanges, and this, is what I mentioned above, the "extension modification".
